Brooklyn-born and Los Angeles–based, Eve Falcon has spent two decades behind the decks and in the studio — a DJ and producer who also writes and sings on records.

She started out in progressive house, back when the word still meant something deep. As the label drifted toward the main stage, her sound went the other way — darker, more hypnotic, rooted in nu skool breaks and the deep end of techno.

These days she runs with the Ayamterrain crew, pulls from the Proton Music world and well past it, and plays the long, patient sets that fragmented genres forgot how to name.

The genre got a new definition.
She kept the old one.
